Around the world in 6year …

When i turned 21 that was the start of my adventures around the world with my partner.

Disneyland Paris…

Our first stop was Disneyland Paris for my 21st birthday. We found a cheap last minute deal on the internet travelling by coach, staying for 4nights in a b&b with 2day park tickets in Disneyland as well as 1day in Paris all for Β£600! Okay so the travel by coach wasn’t the best, it took F.O.R.E.V.E.R and was pretty uncomfortable by the time we arrived but it didn’t ruin the trip! We had great weather and were in Disneyland to celebrate their 20th anniversary!

Mexico…

Our next venture was to Mexico! We were originally looking at somewhere cheap like Spain however due to my Partners work we have to go in July so everywhere is expensive! This made our decision easy and we went for paying a little bit extra for a luxury holiday and save Spain for when we have a family!

Mexico was beautiful, all the staff were friendly and the weather was soo hot! We stayed at the BarcelΓ³ Maya Caribe in Riviera Maya and it was perfect. athe resort was huge and we even enjoyed the tennis! There was also a nightclub on site which we only visited a couple of times as we were tired from all the excursions through the day!

My favourite thing about Mexico was all the animals (and maybe the tequila!)

Cuba…

So coming home and showing our photos to family members we had only made them jelous and found them tagging along to our next holiday!

We had pretty much just returned home and booked up with Sean’s sister and her husband for the following July staying in Melia Cayo Guillermo resort.

After our stumble in Cuba airport around our Visas we were in heaven. The resort was amazing and again could not complain everyone was so friendly, the food was delicious and having Sean’s family there meant me and his sister could have chill out days while the men went off on their sporting activities! It was nice to have a little bit of familiar company on an evening as we dont tend to go out of our way to make friends on holiday!

My highlights of Cuba were 1st time scuba diving, Partying in a cave and swimming with dolphins again!

Jamaica…

My absolute favourite holiday so far! We stayed at The Royalton White Sands Resort in Montego Bay and it was out of this world. Hospitality was second to none, the rooms and whole resort were spotless and well maintained! The excursions were by far the most exciting than the previous holidays from zip lining in the treetops, bobsledging, climbing the famous dunns river falls, cycling down Blue Mountain to seeing Bob Marley’s home!

We made some good friends with bar staff and other tourist’s enjoying a few Bob Marley shots and some beautiful cocktails on an evening! When one of the bar staff found out i had my birthday a few days earlier he arranged a little present for me after my meal, so adorable!

Dominican Republic …

This holiday was a much needed holiday as it was only a few weeks after my mam passed away, However it was also another holiday with the family. This one was booked a lot more last minute and all of us struggled to decide where we were going or staying so it was a quick right its booked!!

We stayed in Catalonia Bavaro Golf and Spa Hotel in Punta Cana, the resort was huge and had its own Casino, coffee shop and shopping centre which we wandered around a lot!

Sean’s younger brother came this time and it was his first long haul holiday so he was pretty excited!

We didnt do as many excursions in Dominican but the ones we did do were really good, we especially enjoyed Coco Bongos Nightclub, Money Forest Adventures and the Buggys. I am a bit obsessed with Monkeys so you can imagine how excited i was about going to the Monkey Forest!

Next stop … Costa Rica is booked for July 2017 … just the 2 of us!

  1. It looks like you have had been to some amazing places! I’d love to go to some. My friend is currently living and teaching in Mexico and she loves it. We have our summer holiday booked there for next year with the kids. Fingers crossed it lives up to my excitment. Your pictures make it look brilliant.

  2. Wow, you’ve definitely managed to fit in a lot of travel to some fantastic spots! I’m very jealous of swimming with dolphins, I’d love to do that. My sister is a huge fan of Mexico, but I’ve never been – maybe I should change that! Thanks so much for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove
